Thank. FULL.

Have you seen those posts on your FaceBook news feed each day?

Day 22: Today, I am thankful for my loving dog. Her tail is always wagging when I come each night!

I may be one of those very rare individuals that actually enjoys reading the posts of my friends and family telling me what they are thankful for each day in the month of November. The month of Thanksgiving.

Instead of doing a post each day, I saved mine all up and they are part of my Thanksgiving prayer. We are told in scriptures to come into His presence with thanksgiving in our hearts and give Him praise. Give Him praise today, write all your thank yous out to Him, say them out loud, pray them as you go to sleep tonight. It will make for a meaningful Thsnkgiving celebration in your heart.

God I praise you for my salvation! 100% saved by Your grace with no regard for my own actions, words, or deeds. You set me aside and called me yours on Easter Sunday when I was just 9 years old, and that day began a life-long journey and friendship with You. I am so thankful. Continue to draw me into a deeper understanding of You and of your plans you have for Me. Give me the courage to trust, the belief to exhibit strong faith, and the words you would have me to share. Help me to be obedient to You each day.

Oh Father, I am unworthy of the family you placed me into. They are the best part of me, my encouragers, my friends, my confidants. I am so grateful for the godly parents that you blessed me with. Thank you for their marriage, for their examples of faith, for their warm love, and unconditional favor on me as their child. I always, always knew I was unconditionally loved and accepted. That is a rare gift, and I thank you and them for that. And for the remainder of my family, all 4 grandparents still living, aunts, uncles, and cousins; I ask that you bless them all richly. That you deepen their love for you and our love for one another.

Father, I feel America slipping further and further from you Lord, and from your Word. Thank you for a firm foundation in our home churches, in our Bible studies, and small groups. Thank you for those godly relationships, times of fellowship, and the accountability that it provides. You have connected me with a new church body this year and a group of 7 women who love you, want to serve you, and want to seek your will in their lives. Thank you for each of them and how they have enriched my story!

Lord, there are a special group of women that you have given to me as heart friends. You have knit our hearts together, you have formed us into these long-lasting and far-reaching friendships and I am grateful daily. Oh for the laughter, fun, encouragement, and warmth that they provide me! They are My girls, My friends, and the sisters I never had. May we continue to be diligent in spending time with one another and continue on the buidling blocks we have already built.

And God, thank you for the men and women who make freedom possible. Thank you for their sacrifices, the sacrifices of their families, their steadfast and unwavering hope and faith in this nation; in its ideals and liberties. Provide them with safety Lord. Give them wisdom, discernment, a clear mind, and lavish love on them as they are away from their families at this time. And selfishly Father, thank you for the men and women I was able to serve while in San Antonio. Thank you for giving me faces, smiles, and stories to rememeber. I will carry those moments always.

Father, I celebrate 3 years with my company in just a matter of weeks. What a joy it is to come into work each day! Thank you for the values in which the company operates and the culture in which we have built and continue to build. Thank you for my amazing coworkers. God, you have given me such wise, wonderful, smart, funny, encouraging, and uplifting people right there outside my office door. We truly are a team in every sense. Thank you for their willingness to help one another, always wanting to give guidance or feedback when asked, to work together, to come alongside one another to achieve a goal that is bigger than the sum of its parts. Honestly, they make Monday-Fridays fun.

Oh God, how much I take for granted! Thank you for homes in which to live, offices in which to work, cars to drive and deliver us, beds in which to sleep, food on our tables, Bibles and books and technology at our very fingertips, clother on our backs, shoes on our feet, even our very health.  Help us to remember that these things we do not own, but are simply on loan from you. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

Last, but certainly not the least, God, thank you for sweet little Miss Mia. You created pets for our enjoyment Lord and she truly gives my family so much enjoyment and loyal companionship.

For all these things and so much more, Thank you!

Hoping you and your families have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday full of great food, conversation, and fellowship with the ones you love. It is sure to be just delicious!
